Since 2009 the EL SALVADOR FOUNDATION, California State University system and CSU campuses have partnered with KMEX, Univision's flagship station in Los Angeles, to produce the “Feria de Educacion y Salud”. The event empowers thousands of Latino parents and students with information and resources to help them succeed in California's educational system, setting them on a path towards the greatest avenue for upward mobility, a college degree. The Feria de Educación y Salud is free to the public. The goal of the event is to increase awareness, provide information and contribute to the increase of Latino high school graduates admitted into college, helping them succeed and achieve a better quality of life now and for generations to come.
The novel coronavirus has assaulted our way of life and in many cases completely changing how we live. Many families have lost their job and worry about food security. As a response to this rising challenge the El Salvador Foundation has organized Food Drives to relief those in need.
