Since 2009 the EL SALVADOR FOUNDATION, California State University system and CSU campuses have partnered with KMEX, Univision's flagship station in Los Angeles, to produce the “Feria de Educacion y Salud”. The event empowers thousands of Latino parents and students with information and resources to help them succeed in California's educational system, setting them on a path towards the greatest avenue for upward mobility, a college degree. The Feria de Education and health is free to the public. The goal of the event is to increase awareness, provide information and contribute to the increase of Latino high school graduates admitted into college, helping them succeed and achieve a better quality of life now and for generations to come.
